The city centre of Bendigo is undergoing improvements in order to create more space for pedestrians, including a $900K funding investment from the Victorian State Government. The aim of the project is to create a space to allow people to improve their wellbeing and to create a better balance between pedestrians and cars.

Prospective buyers can choose from over 30 different house designs to put on vacant land or a newly built house with completed courtyard. The Panorama estate received the 2006 HIA CSR NSW Housing Award for Residential Lifestyle Development of the Year.

This involves designing to enhance energy conservation, water conservation, waste avoidance and minimisation and protecting significant natural and cultural environments and biological diversity.
