Niche at Hillbank is the latest project by the Adelaide Development Company (ADC) and becomes the smallest residential land development in Australia to achieve EnviroDevelopment accreditation, achieving certification for ecosystems, waste, energy and community. ADC has also become the first developer in Australia to be successful in achieving multiple certifications, following certification of Blackwood Park in May 2009.

Seaspray is a $200 million masterplanned residential community at Cocoanut Point, Zilzie. Site area is 119 hectares which includes 61 hectares of National Park, handed back to the Queensland Government for the establishment for the Cocoanut Point National Park. The masterplan includes 400 residential allotments, sites for the development of more than 300 units, the Rec Club , Seaspray Resort & a proposed spa.

Beyond Today is an exemplary EnviroDevelopment. The $160 million residential development contains over 220 allotments , with over 75 per cent of the landholding dedicated to wetlands, parks and reserves. Beyond Today is fully owned and operated by Environmentally Sustainable Developments (ESD), a family business based in South Australia. ESD aimed to give the project, located just 200metres from the coast, and midway between Port Elliot and Victor Harbor, a distinctive appeal for buyers who are seeking a unique and leading edge environmentally sensitive lifestyle in an urban environment.
ESD wanted to create a residential development that left a minimal footprint on the environment whilst actually improving the quality of the surrounding land and its ecosystem. Fitzgibbon Chase (Urban Land Development Authority)

Fitzgibbon Chase was the first project in Australia to achieve all six elements under the version 2.0 of the EnviroDevelopment technical standards. The environmental principles and practices have been incorporated into the development with minimal cost and time imposts. These outcomes were achieved by integrating appropriate design principals and methodologies early in the planning stages through to working closely with our builder partners and contractors.

The Healthy Spaces and Places project is a unique collaboration between the Australian Local Government Association, the National Heart Foundation of Australia and the Planning Institute of Australia with funding assistance from the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing. Healthy Spaces and Places identifies key design principles and processes to assist in the design and development of places that support active living and establishes the relationship between the built environment and physical and mental health and wellbeing.

In order to encourage greater use of sustainable transport (e.g. public transport, carpooling, walking and cycling), Port Phillip City Council, Victoria changed car parking provision rates. Ratio Consultants and Port Phillip City Council received a commendation award for this project in the 2007 Planning Institute Australia Victoria awards for Planning Excellence.

Macgregor West

The Macgregor West development is in the ACT, west of Macgregor and south of Dunlop. Walking tracks and other recreational facilities will form part of the development as well as water sensitive urban design and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. The development will preserve the critically endangered Golden Sun Moth's habitat.

Crace will be located next to the suburbs of Palmerston and Giralang and the Ginninderra Creek/Percival Hill Nature Park, ACT. The plan includes:
A pedestrian and off-road cycling network;
