Fitzgibbon Chase was the first project in Australia to achieve all six elements under the version 2.0 of the EnviroDevelopment technical standards. The environmental principles and practices have been incorporated into the development with minimal cost and time imposts. These outcomes were achieved by integrating appropriate design principals and methodologies early in the planning stages through to working closely with our builder partners and contractors. 

Once completed, the entire Fitzgibbon Chase development will contain up to 1,700 homes in a range of styles to suit all household types, as well as parks and a 40-hectare conservation area. The development sits on a 114-hectare site, 50 per cent of which will remain green space to preserve the natural fauna and flora.

The largest 6-Star housing development in Victoria, Aurora is a pioneering example of how to initiate, develop and grow a sustainable development on a significant scale. The New Rouse Hill development is located in the north west area of Sydney within the Baulkham Hills Shire Council. When completed, the development will include a cosmopolitan town centre, up to 1,800 modern homes, over 34 hectares of parks and open space and extensive community facilities. Regeneration of the banks of tranquil Caddies Creek have inspired the landscaping of The New Rouse Hill with species native to the local Cumberland Plain landscape.

Beyond Today is an exemplary EnviroDevelopment. The $160 million residential development contains over 220 allotments , with over 75 per cent of the landholding dedicated to wetlands, parks and reserves. Beyond Today is fully owned and operated by Environmentally Sustainable Developments (ESD), a family business based in South Australia. ESD aimed to give the project, located just 200metres from the coast, and midway between Port Elliot and Victor Harbor, a distinctive appeal for buyers who are seeking a unique and leading edge environmentally sensitive lifestyle in an urban environment.

ESD wanted to create a residential development that left a minimal footprint on the environment whilst actually improving the quality of the surrounding land and its ecosystem. Ninety five per cent of allotments are either located alongside or overlooking some form of vegetated reserve, park or wetland

Blackwood Park is located in the Adelaide hills approximately 15 km south of Adelaide CBD. Developed by Adelaide Development Company, the site covers 168.7 ha and was previously used for agricultural purposes. Upon completion, the development will include approximately 1200 residential allotments and significant open space.

Seaspray is a $200 million masterplanned residential community at Cocoanut Point, Zilzie. Site area is 119 hectares which includes 61 hectares of National Park, handed back to the Queensland Government for the establishment for the Cocoanut Point National Park. The masterplan includes 400 residential allotments, sites for the development of more than 300 units, the Rec Club , Seaspray Resort & a proposed spa.

Niche at Hillbank is the latest project by the Adelaide Development Company (ADC) and becomes the smallest residential land development in Australia to achieve EnviroDevelopment accreditation, achieving certification for ecosystems, waste, energy and community. ADC has also become the first developer in Australia to be successful in achieving multiple certifications, following certification of Blackwood Park in May 2009.

Mitchell Enviro Industrial Estate has become the first EnviroDevelopment certified industrial estate in Australia.  Certified for all elements of EnviroDevelopment – ecosystems, waste, energy, materials, water and community – the development displayed outstanding consideration of sustainability principles and initiatives.

The certification of Mitchell Enviro Industrial Estate in all six areas of EnviroDevelopment signifies an outstanding achievement.  Considered by some as the last frontier of sustainability, industrial developments have represented the greatest challenge because of the intense nature of their operations.
