Description
ING Bank Headquarters,
I believe this development to be highly successful as it was a pioneer for developments such as this in which the design teams had little to reference with or compare their ideas. The energy and water savings produced which converts to over 2.8million a year is adequate proof of its success. Another measure of its success is less than 15% employee absenteeism per annum since occupancy. This details that the building is as effective today as when it was first occupied and that staff are still comfortable to occupy this space. Cutting edge, though simple design features such as water storage in water features which have the added benefit of providing moisture into the working environment reveal the level of thought and flow on effects architects and design teams considered.
