The Macgregor West development is in the ACT, west of Macgregor and south of Dunlop. Walking tracks and other recreational facilities will form part of the development as well as water sensitive urban design and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.  The development will preserve the critically endangered Golden Sun Moth's habitat.

Crace will be located next to the suburbs of Palmerston and Giralang and the Ginninderra Creek/Percival Hill Nature Park, ACT.  The plan includes:

A pedestrian and off-road cycling network;
Conserving the maximum amount of trees;
Implementing Water Sensitive Urban Design;
Preserving Gungaderra Grasslands nature reserve; and
Protection of significant Aboriginal cultural sites.

The gross residential area of the suburb will be 92 ha.

The Sydney Olympic Park development will focus on sustainable urban development best-practice.  This involves designing to enhance energy conservation, water conservation, waste avoidance and minimisation and protecting significant natural and cultural environments and biological diversity.  In addition, best-practice research on traffic management, noise management, social impacts, equitable access and major event operations has also been incorporated.

South Beach is a development within the City of Cockburn, Fremantle in Western Australia.  The estate has been built by Stockland on rehabilitated land and its emphasis is on best practice in environmentally sustainable design. 

The development has received the Housing Industry Association’s National GreenSmart Professional of the Year for its leadership in environmentally responsible residential development.  South Beach is near the beach, shops, Fremantle Hospital, schools and Notre Dame University.

The Wungong Urban Water Master Plan is a development by the Armadale Redevelopment Authority with partnership from CSIRO's 'Water for a Healthy Country' Research Flagship. 

The development is situated near the Wungong River and is designed to house up to 40,000 people over the next 15 years. 

The development incorporates water sensitive and energy efficient designs.  

The Wungong Urban Water Master Plan has received the President's Award for excellence in planning from the Planning Institute of Australia.

Tullimbar Village

Tullimbar Village is located on the south coast of NSW.  Building architecture is varied and compliments nearby coastal towns. 

The village design focuses on pedestrian access and it is expected that a 30% reduction in car usage will be achieved.  Houses are oriented to enable a 20% reduction in energy use for heating and cooling.  On completion Tullimbar Village will incorporate 2000 houses.

The nearby town centre will include shops, a town hall, sports oval and a church.

SomerVille Ecovillage is 2 km from Chidlow. 70% of the land is covered by natural bush vegetation.  The SomerVille Ecovillage concept ensures that the development is sustainable with regard to environmental, economic and social developments.  An example of this, is the plan of the village centre which does not require the need for car use.  The development is bound by a State Forest on the south and west.
